You may have noticed a difference from other offices. Dr. Mooney appreciates the fact that many Wakulla residents work in Tallahassee, so we have extended our hours to accommodate late patient appointment times every day.

Appointments
We have made requesting an appointment a simple process via our Web site. If, for any reason you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, or will be delayed, please call us as soon as possible. Advise us of the need to change or cancel appointments at least 48 hours in advance. Shorter notice cancellations or changes severely limit our ability to offer another patient their most preferred time.
Insurance and Billing
We are very experienced in working with a number of insurance plans and fight hard for our patients to maximize their benefits and track their predictable co-pays. We accept and file most traditional insurance plans, but please contact our office to verify details of your plan(s). We are happy to file your insurance claims for you electronically as long as you are free to choose your own Dentist, and don't use an insurance that chooses for you.
We are proud to participate as providers for the KidCare/Florida Healthy Kids through Atlantic Dental Inc. (ADI) & MCNA options (choose one of these 2 to be seen by Dr. Mooney, NOT Comp Benefits), UltraCare One & Wellcare plans with ADI, and children’s Medicaid (currently limited to existing patients only).

e accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer flexible payment plans through the medical/dental plan Care Credit (go to www.CareCredit.com to apply). We accept all four of the indemnity plans offered to Florida State employees (Ameritas, American Dental, Assurant, as well as the Comp Benefits PPO plan) and highly recommend using your pre-tax flex-pay benefit for your treatment using our thorough treatment plans.
