“Once In A Lifetime” Guarantee
Q: How long will your crown last?
A: Insurance companies typically tell us that crowns cannot be replaced with less than a 5 year waiting period. However, so many factors influence the longevity of dental restorations that our best extimates are simply that: estimates. HOWEVER, it is our pleasure to offer you what we believe to be a unique value…THIS WILL BE THE ONLY TIME YOU PAY FOR A CROWN on that tooth!
- Visit our office for a MINIMUM of 2 times per calendar year for cleanings. (4 if we have recommended that due to Soft Tissue Management issues/periodontal maintenance program)
- Complete, in our office, all recommended treatment in the quadrant of the mouth where the crowned tooth is located, within a one year period of the placement of the crown. Gum infection and bacterial decay spread from tooth to tooth. Your path to optimal health requires a comprehensive approach to care.
- Advise us of the need to change or cancel appointments at least 48 hours in advance. Shorter notice cancellations or changes severely limit our ability to offer another patient their most preferred time.
You will be given a printed copy of this “Once In A Lifetime” guarantee on your first visit.
Zoom 2
At our office, we use the latest and most advanced teeth whitening process available - the NEW Zoom! 2. Our Zoom! 2, In-Office Whitening System is a revolutionary tooth whitening procedure. In just over an hour, your teeth will be dramatically whiter. Zoom! is ideal for anyone looking for immediate results. The convenience of Zoom!2 in comparison to days of wearing trays for gradual at-home whitening makes it the perfect choice for the busy individual.
The whitening procedure is simple and painless. It begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums. The Dentist then applies the whitening gel, which is activated by the specially designed light. Teeth typically become at least six to eight shades whiter, sometimes more. A short fluoride treatment completes the procedure. You'll be amazed with the results. In most cases, teeth get even whiter the first few days after procedure.
The light activated gel was developed after years of research. The gel is scientifically formulated, ph-balanced Hydrogen Peroxide that, when activated by the Zoom! light, gently penetrates the teeth to remove deep stains and discoloration. With proper care and an occasional touch-up at home, your whiter smile will sparkle for years. This system provides an alternative to costly and time-consuming trips to the dentist and/or other over the counter products that do not offer the same benefits as the Zoom!2 system.

Our hygienists are trained in the application of Oraqix for your comfort during deep cleanings and soft tissue management.

SILENT NITE SNORE GUARD
![]() SILENT NITE™ snoring prevention device. |
It is estimated that more than 80 million people in North America snore while sleeping. While snorers often do not seem to suffer from snoring themselves (excluding Sleep Apnea Disorder), their spouses and children are often repeatedly disturbed during their sleep cycles. Unfortunately, left untreated snoring can produce tensions and even animosity among family members. Today however, thanks to extensive research and documented effectiveness, we can prescribe an affordable, custom made,

identical twins have the same bite characteristics.) The saliva adhering to the wafer additionally provides a DNA sample as well as saliva scent for scent dog tracking. We recommend taking these impressions when your child is 3, 7-8 and 12 years old. We also carry Toothprints in Adult sizes and are working with local Senior Citizen’s groups to urge seniors to include this valuable tool in identification kits for Senior Wanderers and/or Altzheimer’s patients, to offer their caregivers peace of mind if the patient gets lost or disoriented.
Non Surgical Periodontal Treatment
Years ago, if you suffered from periodontal disease, the only definitive treatment was surgery. This procedure was often painful and costly. With advances in periodontal treatment it is now possible to treat even severe periodontal disease with non-surgical methods. If you have a mild or moderate infection under your gum tissues, we may advise a more definitive course of treatment known as root planing and deep scaling. A routine hygiene visit or prophylaxis appointment will not treat this problem. The recommended treatment will help to prevent loss of bone and gum tissues and the supporting structures of the teeth. A periodontal evaluation including electronic charting will define the places where this infection exists. Your treatment may include:
- Local anesthesia
- Analysis of your home care routine and development of a specific personal program for your needs.
- Thorough, deep scaling of the infected areas with smoothing and polishing of the root surfaces (also called root planing).
- Application of fluorides and desensitizing solutions.
- Antibiotic subgingival medication.
- Purchase of professional, powered toothbrush and/or irrigating appliance.
The complete control of this problem requires your cooperative efforts at home on a daily basis.Your periodontal health will be re-evaluated during the course of treatment and if significant infected sites still remain, additional treatment will be discussed. At the end of the program we will determine whether further treatment is necessary. Once the program is completed, it is absolutely necessary to maintain regular continuing care and health screening appointments to avoid repeated flare-ups.
Interest Free Financing
Your initial oral examination includes a comprehensive examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take a complete set of x-rays, which may include the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.
Dental Implants
We will work with an implant specialist to create an implant for a missing single tooth, missing multiple teeth, or replace a removable appliance.
Teeth Bleaching
We offer Zoom2 advanced in our office, which takes about 60 minutes in office and results in changes up to 7 shades lighter on average. We also offer Cogate's state-of-the-art take home bleaching system with custom trays for those who prefer that option. Ask our Chairside Assistants to talk to you about which system you may be a candidate for and to help you compare the differences.
Crowns and Veneers
You can have a new smile with all-porcelain crowns (empressed material) on the anterior teeth. For the posterior, we use porcelain fused to metal.
Fillings: Resin
Tooth-colored filings that are light cured to match your teeth. Amalgam: Silver-colored filings, more durable material. Our doctor recommends only the use of resin or composite fillings for your mouth and no longer offers amalgam or silver fillings. The modern composite materials actually bond with your tooth to insure durability and include no mercury.
Root Canals
We perform root canals on anterior and premolar teeth.
Periodontal Treatment
You should have a standard cleaning at least twice a year. A periodontal treatment includes an Adult Prophy (basic cleaning). If it has been over a year since your last cleaning, possible treatment will include either Periodontal Scaling (deeper) or Root Planning and Scaling (requires anesthetic).
Removable Dental Prosthesis
For missing teeth, we can make dentures or removable partials for you.

DIGITAL XRAYS
The Wand
The Wand has taken the fear, anxiety, and pain out of dental injections! Because we know that some patients get more nervous than others at the mere sight of a needle or syringe, this office now offers the revolutionary computerized system known as The Wand! The Wand looks like a small transparent pencil, but is really a sophisticated small computer microchip designed to release a steady flow of anesthetic to the patient through the gum. Because the anesthesia is released through slow regulated intervals there is no pain, and patients who have experienced it are amazed at how truly comfortable it is. The Wand is an excellent example of our efforts to bring you the latest technology and to help patients have a pleasant, positive visit to our office.
INTRAORAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Yes, but I can’t read xrays like Dr. Mooney can! I cannot even understand the problem – why can’t you show me?”
STM Electronic Probe
Previously, periodontal probing involved manual, tedious, time consuming sometimes painful manipulation to measure pocket depths necessary to diagnose periodontal dental disease. The STM probe eliminates all these drawbacks. We can now map the existing condition of your teeth in relation to your gums and bone support using an electronic digital sensor with voice and visual cues and an incomparably consistent and accurate measuring capability to display data that can give our doctor and patients the a visual presentation that is easier to understand. You can now see and hear what is going on with your gums!
The STM Probe is a computer that speaks to the patient and doctor telling how healthy or unhealthy the patients
gums are and then prints out the results. Why is this important? Because the American heart association has now linked the health of the mouth to the health of the body. Infections in our mouth are now directly linked to Heart Attacks, Strokes, Lung Disease, Kidney Disease, Diabetes, Premature and Low Weight Births and Infant Mortality, and Altzheimer's disease. Like High Blood Pressure, gum and bone disease can only be found when measured. Most people don’t know that they have the problem until it is too late. We have invested in State of the Art Equipment to measure in a way both you-the patient, and we-clinicians, can HEAR the results together. It is important for you to know firsthand how healthy you are. Without measuring the gums and bone, a cleaning appointment is just a cleaning. With this new technology a routine appointment in our office can now save your life!
